Youth comes during times of prosperity, and the time for striving has arrived. In order to further enhance the teaching quality and presentation skills of young teachers, and create a vibrant educational atmosphere, from October 28th to 31st, our Senior High School Department successfully held a competition for young teachers' lesson presentations. In attendance were Vice Principal Xiao Qingke, department leaders, and teachers from all subjects.
To start with, during the competition, the young teachers elaborated on their respective topics by discussing 'textbook analysis, student situation analysis, teaching objectives, key and difficult points of teaching, teaching methods and approaches, teaching process, board design in addition to teaching reflection'. Meanwhile, teachers have always adhered to the teaching philosophy of 'centering on students', closely focusing on the cultivation of core academic competencies, and skillfully using various auxiliary tools such as information technology to present the abstract teaching content vividly and intuitively. More remarkably, teachers were all well-prepared, confident and composed, whose language expression was smooth and natural, with kind and elegant demeanor, which fully demonstrated the excellent comprehensive qualities and proficient classroom management skills of the young teachers in our Senior High School Department.
Last but not the least, after the presentation competition, Vice Principal Xiao Qingke, department leaders and teachers of respective disciplines conducted teaching discussions in terms of teaching philosophy, teaching procedures, and professional qualities. Also, there were both recognition and encouragement, as well as targeted guidance, which pointed out the direction for the professional growth of young teachers.
Finally, after the judges' group conducted a fair, impartial and rigorous quantitative scoring, the results of this competition are as follows:
